ARCHIVED TRIAL RESULTS

FFEBRUARY 2002

24th February 2002

At the second nursery trial to be held by the Fylde Society this season, on Saturday at Walmsley Fold Farm, Brindle, Lancashire, Henry Mee of Bretherton, judged an entry of 40 dogs.  After winning the first trial held at the same venue three weeks earlier, once again it was Keith Salisbury and Clifton Rob who took the title. A smooth coated, black and white dog, Rob was bred in April 1998 out of Nancy Harrison’s Tudor Belle and sired by Wyn Edwards’ Jap.

At the open trial held on Sunday at Glyn Ceiriog, North Wales, Seymour Turner of Weston Rhyn saw 48 dogs go to the post.  Working Beulah ewe lambs over a rising course, Ceri Rundle’s homebred Moel Mac took his first open win.  Rising four-years-old, Mac was bred by his mistress out of Dolwen Fan and sired by her Bwlch Hemp.
