AI is offering us the chance to store semen today from our remaining great breed lines, through modern dogs recognised as being good breeders. Dogs, that when matched to a bitch carrying a compatible breadline, are still producing the type of dog that years ago was considered exceptional. 

Cattle, sheep and pigs have been using this technology for years with no detriment to the breeds...just better animals! The greyhound breeders are using it with great success, so why not us? Science has the genetic knowledge to further improve our dogs, so why not use it and safeguard the good dogs of today for use now...and in the future both home and abroad?
